Not Your Average Love Connection

Even though we live in a time where online dating has become a common way for people to meet, Zack Craig never thought that he would be one to use an online dating site. Craig, an Oklahoma State University football player, did not come about meeting his current girlfriend though sites such as “eHarmony” or “Christian Mingle” but rather making his love connection though twitter. But wait, the story gets better.

After OSU played a game featured on ESPN, there was one viewer who thought Craig was “really cute”. That viewer was Jordan Daigle, who just so happens to be a cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys. After watching the game Daigle took the initiative to follow Craig on Twitter. When Craig realized that a professional cheerleader followed him he was more skeptical than thrilled.

After the Manti Te’o scandal of last year, Craig wanted to be sure that his new admirer was not too good to be true. After doing some research Craig determined that Daigle was genuinely interested. After exchanging messages online and keeping in touch, Craig and Daigle finally met in person later that winter when OSU played in Dallas for a bowl game.

Since then Craig and Daigle have confirmed that they are indeed a couple through social media and can be seen together at the Oklahoma Zoo, the beach, and others social gatherings via Twitter. Only time will tell if this match made on Twitter will last, but if it does it will be without a doubt one of the best online love connections ever made.
